White ASA filament from Siraya Tech endures brutal sun and storms without fading or cracking, thanks to top-tier UV blocking and 10% glass fiber reinforcement for unmatched outdoor toughness.
Prints stay rock-steady with warp resistance that nails precise enclosures or signs, even at 106°C glass transition temps.
Siraya Tech Fibreheart ASA-GF filament prints at 250 to 270 degrees Celsius with a heated enclosure recommended, offering a balance of outdoor durability and printability that standard ABS cannot match in UV-exposed environments.
What Is White ASA-GF Filament?
ASA-GF is ASA (acrylic-styrene-acrylonitrile) reinforced with 10% chopped glass fiber. The glass fiber addition raises tensile strength, flexural modulus, and heat deflection temperature compared to standard ASA, while also reducing warping during printing and improving dimensional stability. The white color option makes the material particularly suited for outdoor applications where solar heat gain is a concern.

Technical Properties
- Glass Transition Temp: 106°C Higher than standard ASA, providing excellent thermal stability in elevated temperature environments.
- Heat Deflection Temp: 92-97°C At 1.8 MPa and 0.45 MPa respectively. This offers reliable engineering tolerance for thermal stress.
- 10% Chopped Glass Fiber Increases strength, stiffness, and impact resistance. Significantly reduces warping compared to standard ASA.
- Superior UV Resistance Maintains both color and physical properties under harsh weather conditions. The practical choice for long-term outdoor use.
- Dimensional Stability Glass fiber reduces thermal contraction, making ASA-GF more predictable for large functional assemblies.
Applications for White ASA-GF
- Outdoor Fixtures White reflects sunlight, reducing heat buildup. ASA-GF handles UV and thermal cycling without degrading.
- Automotive Parts Higher heat resistance than standard ASA/ABS. White color reduces solar absorption for exterior components.
- Agricultural Equipment Handles the combination of UV exposure and mechanical stress encountered in field environments.
- Marine Components UV resistance and weatherability in a color suited to marine sun exposure.
- Signage & Fixtures Holds its color and shape under years of sun exposure without the yellowing that affects standard materials.
Print Settings & Requirements
ASA-GF Comparisons
- Vs. Standard ASA ASA-GF is stronger, stiffer, and warps less. Standard ASA is easier to print without a heated enclosure.
- Vs. ABS-GF ASA-GF offers significantly better UV resistance. ABS-GF degrades and embrittles under UV exposure unless painted or coated.
- Vs. PET-GF ASA-GF has better surface finish and chemical resistance. PET-GF has lower moisture absorption and is easier to print without an enclosure.
White ASA-GF for Outdoors
White ASA-GF combines the functional advantage of high solar reflectivity with the durability of glass fiber reinforced ASA. White parts absorb less heat from sunlight, which means lower surface temperatures during peak sun exposure. This matters for functional parts where dimensional accuracy under thermal stress is important.
The white color also means the part retains its appearance longer. UV degradation is less visually apparent in white materials than in dark colors, where chalking and surface degradation show more obviously.
