Finding the right Anycubic Kobra 2 filament is the difference between fast, clean prints and constant troubleshooting on your high-speed bed-slinger.
Siraya Tech makes premium 1.75 mm filament tuned for the Kobra 2 series. Because we formulate and manufacture our own PLA, PETG, and flexible TPU blends in-house, every spool is matched to the dual-gear direct drive extruder and 260°C hotend on your Kobra 2, Kobra 2 Pro, Neo, Plus, or Max.
Lock in clean layers, sharp detail, and zero under-extrusion even when you push the printer to its top speed.
Kobra 2 Filament That Stays Reliable at High Speeds
The Kobra 2 Pro hits 500 mm/s on benchmark prints. That speed exposes weak filament. Our spools are engineered for stable flow at those speeds.
- Perfect 1.75 mm fit — standard diameter that loads cleanly into the Kobra 2 direct drive extruder.
- Tight ±0.02 mm tolerance — keeps extrusion even during fast travel moves and acceleration spikes.
- High volumetric flow — melts cleanly at the 60W hotend's heating rate without jamming.
- Sealed in moisture-proof packaging — every spool ships in vacuum-sealed bags with desiccant to keep PETG and TPU stringing-free.
Pick the Right Material for Every Kobra 2 Build
The Kobra 2's 260°C hotend covers most everyday materials. Match the right polymer to the job and you avoid the long list of issues that come from forcing the wrong filament onto the wrong machine.
| Material | Best For | Difficulty | Key Strength |
|---|---|---|---|
| PLA | Detailed models, prototypes, display prints | Easy | Sharp detail, no warping, easy bed adhesion |
| PETG | Functional brackets, outdoor parts | Medium | Tough, heat resistant, weatherproof |
| Flex TPU | Phone cases, gaskets, drone bumpers | Medium | Flexible, impact absorbing, recoverable |
| PETG-CF HF | Rigid jigs, tool holders, brackets | Medium | Stiff, low-warp, professional matte finish |
PLA for Fast, Detailed Prints
PLA is the daily driver for most Kobra 2 owners. Our PLA is formulated to print clean at high speeds without sacrificing detail, with a low melting point that matches the Kobra 2's heating profile.
PETG for Tough Functional Parts
When your prints need to handle stress, heat, or moisture, switch to PETG. It survives outdoor use, holds up under load, and prints reliably on the Kobra 2's 110°C heated bed.
Flexible TPU on the Kobra 2 Direct Drive
The Kobra 2's dual-gear direct drive extruder makes flexible printing predictable. Our Flex TPU 95A handles general flexible parts, while the Flex TPU Air 65A-82A foaming blend opens up wearables, insoles, and soft-touch grips with adjustable hardness.
Tip: Print TPU at 20 to 40 mm/s with minimal retraction for the cleanest results.
PETG-CF HF for Stiff Engineering Parts
Carbon-fiber-reinforced PETG adds rigidity without an enclosure. Our PETG-CF HF runs at speeds up to 150-200 mm/s and produces a professional matte finish that hides layer lines.
Note: Carbon fiber wears out brass nozzles. Install a hardened steel nozzle on your Kobra 2 before printing PETG-CF.
Why Professional Makers Choose Siraya Tech
At Siraya Tech, we do not white-label generic spools. We are chemists, engineers, and makers who formulate and manufacture our own materials.
Every filament is tested on popular FDM printers, including bed-slinger CoreXY hybrids like the Kobra 2 series, so your print profiles work the first time and your layers come out incredibly strong.

Frequently Asked Questions
What filament works with the Anycubic Kobra 2?
The Kobra 2 supports PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, and ASA. Its 260°C hotend and 110°C heated bed cover those materials reliably. It does not support high-temperature filaments like PC, nylon, or pure PET-CF without upgrades.
Can the Kobra 2 print TPU?
Yes. The dual-gear direct drive extruder is built for flexible filament. TPU prints best at 20 to 40 mm/s with minimal retraction. Softer TPUs like 85A need slower settings, while 95A prints faster and more forgiving.
Can the Kobra 2 print carbon fiber filament?
Yes, with a hardened steel nozzle. PETG-CF HF and similar blends work on the Kobra 2, but the stock brass nozzle wears quickly with abrasive filaments. Swap to hardened steel before printing carbon-fiber materials.
What is the max nozzle temperature on the Kobra 2?
The Kobra 2 hotend reaches 260°C, which is enough for PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, and TPU. It will not reach the temperatures required for materials like PC, nylon, or PEI.
Does the Kobra 2 need an enclosure?
Not strictly. PLA, PETG, and TPU print fine without one. An enclosure helps with ABS by reducing warping from drafts, but the open-frame Kobra 2 is mostly used for everyday materials that do not require chamber heat.
